SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ in the office of comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Ministry of Culture: 12^th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ ( except DEOs in Department / Ministry Mentioned at above Para): Candidates must have passed 12^th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Note: The candidates who have appeared in their 12^th Standard or equivalent examination can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before the cutoff date i.e. 01.08.2023.

Age Limit:

Age limit for this posts is 18-27 years i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005 are eligible to apply.

The Upper Age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 Years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 Years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 Years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India Rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be provided as per Government Rules. Go through SSC Official Notification 2023 for more reference.

Salary Details:

1. LDC/JSA – Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19900-63200)

2. DEO – Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100) and Level-5(Rs. 29200-92300)

3. DEO, Grade ‘A’ – Pay Level- 4 (Rs. 25500-81100)

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2023:

1. Computer Based Examination (Tier-I & Tier-II)

2. Skill Test / Typing Test

Exam Center in Tamilnadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli & Vellore

Application Fee / Exam Fee:

– Fee Payable: Rs. 100/- (Rs One Hundred Only)

– Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
